Just To Confirm.

The cat in the ceiling is evil! Well the kitten is anyways. The kitten who we named McGruder (a glaze name) was hissing at me! That little booger wouldn't take my water! My friend Lucas said that they are as good as dead. HOW AWFUL! I truly have tried to save the Raku and baby McGruder but I don't know where to go from here. Satan's cats are hiding in my ceiling. Sounds like a band name or a book, I will get on that right away.

OK. The blue hole is this great place where you can go cliff jumping, rope swinging, and just chill. It is not an owned place just a hidden spot next to some railroad tracks. It is so fun! The jump is 40 ft. It's a blast.

And yes once I see scowling I know I am home in good ole Baltimore.

Hopefully I have an interesting day and come write about it later tonight. However, my day has just started and there is noting more to say than I hate staying up untip 3 and then waking up at 9. Never again! SIKE!

Thankn you for this sweet little walk through my mind. Let's do it again soon!

Upside Down.

Jack Johnson you will forever be my chill music. My music that lightens my heart and makes me want to be on the beach. The music that is expressive and simple. Thank You.

This semester is almost done. It is exam week. And ladies and gentlemen this means that I have officially finished my first year of college....almost. Just wait until these 2 exams are done and I will have 1 year under my belt! I am ready for a summer home! I am excited to see those familiar faces that love you no matter what. I am ready to see scowling instead of smiling. And I cannot wait to smell that sweet aroma of Baltimore....smell that pollution! And more than ever I am ready for an adventure. I am thinking road trip!

The weather has been amazing. I think that calls for some cliff jumping at the blue hole!

So I am not mentioning names but lets call him Q. So I met Q last week and this guys is all the check marks on my list. NO LIE! A guy who surfs, throws pottery, and travels! Well I think he is just a nice guy. My room mate said that he may just be an example of what my standards should look like! I think she is right. I have wasted time with too many Logan's (aka buttholes). I still can't help but swoon when I see him! MMMM! It's just a harmless crush.

So in the ceramic studio there is a cat in the ceiling. A ceiling cat. I named him Raku (a type of clay) So I have plans on saving him. I will tell y'all how that goes later.

Well I love y'all thank you for visiting my mind come again soon.

Hot Tea.

You know thos days where you just wake up with ease. Everything seems good in the world. Nothing can get you down. The rain may be falling outside but a smile stays on your face. I'm having one of those days. My heart feels light. The sky is grey preparing us for the rain that is about to visit us but I am so warm and happy. Despite the fact that I hate drinking out of styrofoam cups, I am sipping some wonderful Earl Grey tea and I am comforted. I can only hope that all of your days are just as nice. Have a lovely afternoon.

Thank you for this short but sweet visit to my mind; come again!

butterflies, oreos & art journals

My room never seems to stay clean. I don't know what it is. I know it's not me. Maybe there are little angry elves who come out at night that like to try my clothes on and throw them on the floor and not in the shopping cart where they belong. It's a conspiracy.

So today I learned that having a crush on someone is not the only way to get butterflies. Today I did something I have felt God putting on my heart. I needed to tell a certain person...lets call him Heat....that I have been praying for him and that I have felt a strong connection between us(not romantically). But as soon as I saw Heat I got an extreme case of butterflies, and as I was telling him I had butterflies, and those same butterflies stuck with me till the end. It was a great feeling. God is a funny guy and I know he was giving me those butterflies to show that I was doing what he asked.

Today I remembered the magic of peanut butter and oreos. It was DELICIOUS.

I made my very own journal! I guess I should do some tutorial or something but that is not me. It was so easy kinda. But now I have my own journal to create in. I think everyone should have one or at least look through someone elses. They are very inspiring things. I love them!

There is nothing more satisfying then seeing your boss get dunked at a dunking booth!

Well I am off to a ball game! It will be a fun night.

Thank you for visiting my mind I hope you come again soon!

heart melting

This semi attractive guy (nothing special) just walked into my work. He has been here before. Everytime he opens his mouth my heart melts. Due to his beautiful accent! He must be from Liverpool or somewhere like that. OH! I love it! He then turns into a very attractive guy that I don't want to stop talking. Everything goes a little foggy when he talks and I have to snap back to reality.

Moral of the story: Don't judge a guys looks until he opens his mouth to talk.
And you shouldn't make blogging a priority at work even when your'e busy!

battle wounds & the president

So rugby practice was brutal for me yesterday. I stayed on the ground for about 60% of the 2 hour practice. I couldn't get a break. I also jammed my finger, and now I am impatiently waiting for the clinic to open so they can pop it out. OOOH I'm nervous. But I got some cool bruises from practice that I am proud to show off.

Today was the famous "Ask the President" day in chapel today. The day where you can ask the president of my college anything your heart desires and he will answer. It is fantastic. It's like Christmas meets Valentines meets New Years meets Ground Hogs day. Something along those lines!

The rain won't stop.

Today is TOMS Go a Day Without Shoes Day. They have a facebook page so it's official.

So instead of popping my finger out they just put it in a gaudy finger brace. I could stop traffic in this thing...NO LIE!

Well the rains stopping and I should actually do some work!

Come back to my mind soon.

itchy eyes, a busy week & rugby

My allergies have been killing me. It has been horrible. You can't wear contacts because the pollen gets stuck to them and torments your poor little eyes. Sneezing has became my new favorite hobby along with blowing my nose.

If my allergies don't kill me than this unbearably crazy week will. I think all of my professors get together and see how hard they can make my week. 2 exams, 1 HUGE pottery project, and 1 paper. In this said paper I have to read 2 books and analyze them. And the Pottery project I have to pick an artist and make 4 pieces using inspiration from their work. Yes, I love ceramics but this couldn't have come at a worse time. OH WELL. I need to learn how to manage my time. It seems impossible at this very moment.

Besides this chaotic week I have an awesome week to look forward to. I am spending time with a friend all weekend! I am teaching 4th & 5th graders how to use the pottery wheel! I am gonna hike! And lastly I am doing a walk-a-thon for the invisible children in Africa! It will be a good weekend after all.

So my rugby team is off to Florida. I took a short week break from the team, had a meeting with the coach and BAM I'm back. Yep we made to FINALS!!!!!!! It's going to be super fun even if my view is from the bench. I warm that bench with pride!

I have been craving crab cakes. YUM.

Lunch in 30 minutes, until then I will jam out to The Beatles and cram for exam #1.

Have an amazing day, and thank you for this walk through my mind. Come again soon.
